Who operates Courieresim.com?
Courieresim.com is a specialist IoT / M2M eSIM service operated by GuernseyTel (www.guernseytel.com) who are a fully authorised / licensed and regulated fixed and mobile operator in the Channel Islands. GuernseyTel operate their own network and are not a virtual ‘MVNO’.
What savings can I expect using Courieresim.com?
Bear in mind that Courieresim.com is not a backup or secondary ‘data switching’ SIM (like Honest John and others in the UK) you use your eSIM as your primary work data SIM. It will auto-switch between mobile networks as appropriate.
When compared to conventional multi-network business SIM solution (Iot / M2M) you can expect to typical savings of between 75% and 90% This is because we are a mobile operator ourselves (not a MVNO) and we pass on savings to you direct.
What is the cost of using Courieresim.com?

How good is the Courieresim.com eSIM mobile coverage?
GuernseyTel operates Courieresim.com and provides roaming eSIM’s that use the mobile network infrastructure outside of its home networks of partner networks and this gives our customers access to use the mobile network towers and infrastructure of at least two fully licensed national mobile operators in every primary country in which we offer our eSIMs.
Do your eSIMs roam onto multiple networks?
Yes. Not only that, they are not steered, meaning they will typically attach to one of the supported roaming networks in each country depending on the strength of the network signal and the chipset in your device.
Network switching generally takes place when your device loses connectivity, whereby it will scan for the strongest mobile operators radio network and then connect. This means that you will always get a connection, but switching may not be dynamic based on strongest signal, instead re-connecting to strongest signal when necessary.
Why use a multi-network sim anyway?
Networks have blackspots. They suffer outages and congestion. Professional drivers, fleets and IoT / M2M companies recognise the need for redundancy, particularly in the taxi and logistics industry where dispatch and Proof of Delivery (POD) systems can become unstable, or lose orders where the underlying mobile network suffers issues.

We build, manage and deploy the entire service, including the customer facing website, handling tax, support as well as all compliance as the legal MoR.
Do you sell via resellers or distributors?
No. You can only buy our services directly from us or one of our branded ‘MVNO’ suppliers. This ensures that you receive both the very best service, and prices, direct from a fully licensed Tier 1 mobile operator.
Am I tied into a long contract like some of your competitors?
Absolutely not. All of our contracts run month to month (rolling monthly). Vote with your loyalty and feet.
Can I upgrade or downgrade as needed?
Absolutely you can. Simply login to your Account (which you create before you checkout) via our website or App which you can also download at our website, and choose upgrade, downgrade or cancel. You can also view your last attached network, location and data use.
Where is the Courieresim.com service available?
We are available on at least three mobile networks across the entirety of the United Kingdom (mainland). We are also available on at least two local mobile networks in: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Ireland, Italy, Lichtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden (this may change at any time). EU customers can roam across all other EU countries not on this list on at least one in country network.
We are currently in the process or enabling coverage across the USA.
What devices do you support?
We only support Apple and Android based phone derived devices through this website i.e. consumer/business devices with a screen and UI (where the APN and eSIM details and roaming can be user configured). We can support headless IoT and M2M devices subject to specific terms – please contact us for specifics.
Our SIMs can be used with all taxi, dispatch ride hailing and courier / fleet systems used globally.
Do I have to use the Guernseytel.com website for purchases and support?
Whilst this is common place with a number of our competitors we support recurring subscriptions automatically. Subscriptions are monthly auto-renewing using the card you supply at signup, and will continue indefinitely until cancelled, upgraded or downgraded with no tie in.
Can I view my connectivity and usage via a self-service portal for all my eSIMs?
Yes. You will first create an Account when you signup. Once logged in to your Account you can then take a Subscription. Within the Account page you can view your first and last connection details, network and country as well as your billing and usage.
Where do I obtain support?
We have an online Support desk using our built in trouble ticketing system located within your online Account page. This is available 24/7/365 but we will typically only respond within UK business hours.
Do you have an App?
Yes. You can install our App directly from our main website GuernseyTel.com. You can click to insall this within your Account page.
And you offer a price match guarantee?
We do. We will, wherever possible, match any competitive price offered for a similar business service. Please raise a Ticket via the Support link in your Account.
Do you have an API?
Yes we do. This is typically available to large fleets, orders and custom requests. Contact Us for more information.
Do you offer branded ‘white label’ and MVNO solutions?
Yes we do. Better than that, whilst as a mobile operator we can enable you as a MVNO, we typically provide a one stop shop for large brands, fleets and custom solutions where we remain the MoR. We take your corporate branding, logo and build you a custom solution which we fully maintain from end to end. This means we remain fully liable for all carrier legal matters, compliance etc. We fully support your clients under your brand, bill them and manage the website, meaning you have to do literally nothing. Do you support 5G?
Yes. All of our multi-network eSIMs are 5G data only (unless otherwise labelled) compatible and at time of writing broadly just over 50% of all supported mobile networks are 5G enabled. However, your connectivity will depend upon underlying mobile network that your device connects to, your device and its chipset (not all devices support same frequencies offered by certain mobile networks) and the underlying commercial roaming agreements.
